Born in Benxi, China, Fu Han was adopted in 2005 to the United States. In their current works, Fu Han creates reflective works on their complicated thoughts on being an adoptee-Chinese American. Fu Han uses art as a way to unravel their emotions and to find clarity as to who they are. Fu Han’s works also shed light on representation since adoptees are often left out in such conversations.
